Motor Werks has been a respected name in luxury automobile retailing for nearly 40 years.
The mission of our company has been – and continues to be – the ultimate satisfaction of our customers. To that end, Motor Werks established the Mercedes-Benz and BMW franchises in 1971, in downtown Barrington to meet the discerning needs of our clientele. Presently, this location is home to our Cadillac and Saab showroom.
However, in light of the economic difficulties that the auto industry has been facing, General Motors, the parent company of Cadillac, decided to reduce the overall number of dealerships nationwide, thus the closure of nearly 780 dealerships.
In response to public sentiment, Congress recently legislated that GM allows for a hearing to enable the affected dealerships to appeal for a reprieve. If all goes as planned, only the best dealerships with proven customer service can continue with its franchise.
